What is the Cosmetic Practitioners Register?
The Cosmetic Practitioners Register members are individual aesthetic practitioners with professionally recognised aesthetic cosmetic qualifications. That are a part of the UK database within CPD.
Cosmetic Practitioners Database (CPD) specialises in representing the interests of aesthetic cosmetic professionals who work within the beauty industry who may not be medically trained.
The membership is primarily for UK based & professionally qualified aesthetic cosmetic practitioners who are CPD registered, there is also provision for applicants who are medically trained such as Doctors, nurses and dentist within health care professionals.
In short the CPD does what it can do to support its members in their practice. Through membership, forums, training and continued professional development.

Im not medically trained can i join?
CPD specialise in training and supporting none medical individuals. Through our training provider VTCT approved Eternal Youth we are currently the only organisation that can take someone up to Level 7 Qualifications.
With guidance support and continued professional development from enquiry to full member.
How do i join?
Simply complete the Cosmetic Practitioners Database application form.
Once vetted and you meet our requirements you will be fully inducted into being a CPD member.

Terms and Conditions

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
On becoming a member of CPD you are automatically agreeing to these terms and conditions and you are providing us with the appropriate consent to handle your personal information in accordance with the Data Protection Act.
1.0 GENERAL TERMS
1.1 By registering and joining and registering with the Cosmetic Practitioners Database you agree to be bound by the CPD Code of Conduct and always hold Public Liability and Malpractice insurance whilst in membership and practicing.
1.2 Membership is for a term of 12 months. The membership Year runs from 1st day of application then expires after 12 months requiring reapplication.
1.3 Each member is expected to attend CPD Conferences per membership year
1.4 We reserve the right to increase the price of the membership subscription on an annual basis. You will be informed of any fee increase within your renewal e-mail.
1.5 Credit Card Payment. If you are not using your own credit/debit card to pay for the membership subscription, you must ask the permission of the card holder before entering the payment details. When you apply to subscribe to CPD you are confirming that you have obtained the express prior permission of the credit/debit card holder.
1.6 Your membership renewals and reminders will be sent by email, as this method is faster and more environmentally friendly. An electronic Certificate of Membership is issued upon payment.
1.7 At the point of renewal of your membership, your renewal payment is confirmation of the continued acceptance of this contract. You may not transfer any of your rights and obligations under these terms and conditions to another person.
1.8 Use of the CPD logo and CPD Certificate must only be used in reference to individual practitioners, not to use for clinic marketing.
1.9 Member passwords and access codes to password protected areas of the website and other associated membership benefits, are strictly for the use of the individuals to which they were issued, and must not be shared with any third party or unauthorised person.
1.10 Registered members must provide their NMC PIN number to the CPD. (If applicable)
1.11 Members must inform the association of any changes in their circumstance or contact details.
1.12 You will also grant permission for your membership records to be held on computer for the purposes of handling membership and mailing out membership material.
1.13 You will also grant permission for your contact details to be passed to CPD Board or Group Leaders for the purposes of communication and event management. You may opt out of this clause by contacting head office via email
1.14 If you are accepted into membership, but it subsequently turns out that any or all of the information provided by you was misleading or false, we reserve the right to revoke the membership with immediate effect, without the right of appeal.
2.0 REFUNDS POLICY
2.1 Since Cosmetic Practitioners Registrations is offering membership and events we do not issue refunds once payment is accomplished and in the case of membership, the membership has been activated. As a customer you are responsible for understanding this upon purchasing your membership or registration for an event being held by the CPD.
However, we realize that exceptional circumstance can take place, therefore we do honour requests for a refund on the following basis:
Non-delivery of the product: You have received no contact with the CPD (this does not include technical problems beyond the CPDs control)
Unforeseen circumstances: This does not include your decision to stop practising as an aesthetic practitioner.
Events - Members may be invited to events organised by the CPD, to enable members to gain information and make the best use of networking opportunities. Cancellations made 21 days or more before any chargeable event will be refunded in full. Cancellations after that date will be charged in full, although substitute attendees can be made at any time.
2.2 If you feel you have a justifiable reason for a refund, we will respond to any complaint or query received within three working days. This may be an acknowledgement that we have received a complaint whilst further investigations are carried out.
2.3 Requests for a refund will be considered by the Cosmetic Practitioners database within the period of 1 week after registration. You should accompany this request with detailed and grounded reasons why you apply for a refund. Please make sure your request does not contradict our Terms and Conditions. A refund is issued to you upon receipt of a Waiver of Copyright signed by you.
2.4 If you have any queries, comments or complaints about your subscription please contact our office - we are ready to assist you and deliver professional support in a realistic timely manner.
3.0 MEMBERSHIP TERMINATION
Membership of the CPD will cease if:
3.1 a member’s renewal fees remain unpaid by renewal date.
3.2 a members name is suspended or removed from the NMC.
3.3 they feel the member has contravened the CPD Code of Conduct or acted in a way that puts the CPD into disrepute. The decision is made by the board and is final.
3.4 they at any point in time cancel, do not renew or are refused professional indemnity insurance.
4.0 CPR FORUMS
4.1 CPD host Forums on the CPD website and Facebook. To use CPD Forums you must be a member of the CPD. It is a membership privilege for which you are accountable.
4.2 All advice/comments/threads are the opinion of the author and not the CPD and are posted without prejudice. Any member violating the rules of confidentiality will be permanently removed from this page and face disciplinary action by the CPD. Please do not share information outside of the membership.
4.3 Do not advertise your business or your associates’ business/products/training on the Forums. Competitive rates for advertising on our website are available via the CPD office.
4.4 Do not post photographs of patients. We recognise the need for this type of information sharing and this learning opportunity will be incorporated into our website.
4.5 Do not share PDF's/books/articles on this forum unless they are COPYRIGHT FREE.
4.6 Please respect the intellectual ownership of the information given freely and without prejudice on this page. The information was given freely to CPD members and is NOT yours to pass on to NON CPD members.
4.7 Any breach of the above Terms and Conditions will result in the perpetrator being removed from the Group by moderators.
4.8 The CPD reserves the right to remove any social media post that is deemed by the CPD Board to have contravened the CPD Code of Conduct or in any way, shape or form is deemed to be inappropriate.

CPD is CPD Accredited. We organise CPD events throughout the year including the Super Regional Groups and the Annual Conference, which are heavily subsidised for members. Membership of the CPD includes exclusive individual access to an e-portfolio to store all appropriate CPD and career development information. We also provide discounted training opportunities for Basic Life Support.
Working Together to Define and Drive Standards
